Day 3 & 4
Day 3 was hard because I’m at work at 8 so I can’t have my normal omelette for breakfast (I wake up about 30 minutes before this shift.) I brought some leftovers but I wasn’t in the mood for them.  I went to Whole Foods and bought egg salad and bean salad for breakfast/lunch (BRUNCH) and snacked on a few mixed nuts. When I got home I had a little snack. For dinner I made a...

Day 2
Breakfast - Omelette w/ feta & spinach + coffee/vegetable juice.  This is a normal breakfast for me, diet or not. So that’s nice. Friday is one of the few days I work during the day so this would be a challenge for lunch. Lunch - Tuna salad, salad w/ homemade balsamic vinagrette (from S. Beach Diet book), Hearts of Palm “potato salad” Dinner was even MORE of a challenge as...

Diet Blog Day 1
We have decided to get back in fighting shape over the winter and I figure tracking our meals might be a nice way to help keep it up.  Actually that was Katelyn’s idea.  As always, she is way smarter than me. We are doing South Beach.  Basic rundown of that: Lots of meat & veggies (no carrots!) and NO fruit for the first 2 weeks.  Obviously no carbs either.  I guess you can eat as much...

My parents named their children after the lamest...
As my parents prepared for my two brothers and I to be born they debated potential names.  They considered male and female names (not finding out the sex in advance), names of relatives and Hebrew names.  One thing I’m sure they didn’t consult was the product listing of a Swedish lifestyle store that would not come to America until I was three years old. Yes, my brothers and I all...

Bruins Blog Project: Opening Night 10/21/10
Once again, I will be attempting to blog comprehensively about every Bruins game I attend over the course of the year.  Two years ago I achieved this successfully.  Last year, I lost focus after 1 game.  If this progresses naturally, I should not even finish this post.  We’ll see. Pre-Game: I have moved, which means I have a brand new route to the game.  Farewell Red Line at Wollaston to...

inothernews: topherchris: The Mallory’s Clothes Tumblr is “a comprehensive rundown, in chronological order, of Mallory Keaton’s outfits from the series Family Ties.” Mallory, as I’m sure you’re all aware, was played by Justine Bateman — who also has a Tumblr blog herself. Earlier today, Justine became aware of Mallory’s Clothes and reblogged it: I am so fucking humbled. If I find some...

Tom Brady's hair: A more accurate, musically...
Tom Brady is a famous, famous person.  Individual parts of his body are more famous than you or I will ever be.  That includes his hair. Tom hasn’t cut his hair in a long while and, for whatever reason, this has people flipping out.  It has drawn the most comparison to impish Canadian pop ingenue Justin Bieber. While mostly accurate, this look is months old.  It’s time to give TB12...

I hope Bar Louie responds to my e-mail
I am sorry to say I had a horrible experience at your restaurant at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA.  Upon being seated, we waited 15+ minutes for human contact from a waitress in a 1/2 empty restaurant.  I’d hate to experience what the service is like when it’s crowded during a Patriots game.  I’m assuming half of the tables are littered with starving skeletons of patrons...

Is Phish playing in North Korea?
Phish is doing a few shows in the small DMZ town of Telluride, CO.  This is the actual letter ticket holders received.  It’s pretty crazy. Telluride Barricade: The Town of Telluride will be putting up a barricade at the entrance to town beginning Sunday August 8 at 5 p.m.  You will not be allowed to drive into town unless you are a paying attendee to PHISH.  Please show your proof of...
